➶ How much does a destination wedding cost?
This is a question we tend to get a lot from our clients during our consultation call. The answer is not straight-forward which is why we’re here to guide you through it.
This will always depend on how many guests you’ll be having, the destination, the venue, and the quality of vendors you’re looking to hire for all the rest. We work through the budget with you and guide you to make the right choices, achieving the quality wedding you’re looking for.
➶ We want to have a small destination wedding but then celebrate with friends and family back home. Is that ok?
Yes, of course. Many couples choose to do this style format, and we’re happy to help plan both events if you’d like!
➶ Should I do a site visit?
Our recommendation is always YES. If you can afford to take the time to come visit the destination, see the venue, meet your vendors, we always encourage this. It’s oftentimes the case that you shop for a venue and vendors with us - each couple is different and we guide you through whatever works for you.
➶ Do we need Save The Dates and Formal Invites?
Save the Dates (WITH an RSVP!) are crucial. Getting a head-count as early as possible is best.
➶ Do we need a wedding website?
Yes. This is a digital-age, everyone is going to have questions, the website allows for all that information to live in one place, easy to access by all your guests.
➶ Should we host a welcome party?
This is a personal choice, but we recommend it. It’s always nice to thank your guests for travelling far for you, and welcome everyone before the wedding.
➶ Do you do weddings for the LGBTQ+ community?
Absolutely - love is love. Everyone dreams of their perfect wedding, and we are here to service everyone.
➶ Do we have to pay for our wedding guests' travel and accommodations?
Every couple approaches this question, it’s a personal decision you make in the planning process depending on your preference and budget.
➶ Are you up to date regarding COVID - 19?
We are constantly monitoring the changing landscape of regulations on a country by country basis to best serve and protect the interest and safety of our clients and their weddings.
➶ Do I have to commit right away?
After our consultation call, I present you with a proposal. You have 7 days after receiving the proposal to let us know!
➶ How much communication will we have?
I offer unlimited availability, this is built into our contract. We schedule as many calls as you need. We will never be out-of-touch.
➶ I’m a more hands on person, is that okay?
Yes, of course! Your wedding ultimately represents YOU, you need to be involved and give input in order for the wedding to be customized, and for the guests to know and feel they are at YOUR wedding.
➶ Who are the other people in your team?
We have a small team in-house, we hire assistants based on each project and what languages are necessary, as well as our team and partners of luxury travel advisors at TRAVELLUSTRE
➶ If I book today, how much do I pay?
Upon contract signing, we require a 50% of our total service fee as a retainer.
➶ What happens after my consultation?
After your consultation, we put together a brief proposal for you, creating a mood-board and representation of how we can help you, along with our fee. You’ll then have 7 days to review the proposal and make a decision.
➶ Can my whole family travel together?
Absolutely -all the planning and logistics is something we can take off your shoulders.
➶ What if I don’t speak the language where I want my wedding?
No problem at all - we have a multilingual team, and we act as translators and interpreters for you. You will never feel lost in translation with us by your side.
➶ My partner and I are of two different religions, what do we do?
This is something we can discuss on our call, evaluate all our options, and decide on what makes the most sense in the destination you choose.
